OUR STORY
We are a husband and wife team who own a caravan for hire on Golden Sands Holiday Park
near Rhyl in North Wales.
The park is only one to two hours from the cities of Manchester and Stoke,
a nice easy drive to a relaxing stay by the sea.
Golden Sands is a well located 5* holiday park and is open for 12 months of the year.
The facilities are excellent and include a restaurant, show bar and a heated indoor swimming pool, with bubble pool and toddlers area.
Entertainment complex with two bars, a restaurant, and live entertainment most nights from February to October. Entertainment is also at weekends through the winter season.
The park also boasts a launderette, shop and chip shop for your convenience.
We recommend both the Sandpiper restaurant and the chip shop for meals.
There are also local restaurants and take-aways within walking distance.
For your shopping needs there are the park shop, and Asda just a ten minute walk away along the Coastal Path.
"What a little gem, the caravan was exceptionally clean to a very high Standard. The plot where the caravan was situated was peaceful and quite. The owners left a pleasant surprise, tea, coffee, milk, sugar, toilet roll, washing up liquid and best of all a block of dairy milk, after a three hour journey a cuppa was what we wanted. Thank you for a fab holiday will book again soon."
Unsure of whether to book a 20 20 social distancing holiday As a lone single parent of 2 young children I took the plunge of a staycation during Covid 19! Liz was accommodating and available for any answers to questions I had . Although mother nature continued to be unkind during Aug 20 20 we still felt safe and were able to explore areas of Wales we hadn't previously . During the 'storms' we were happy in our home from home cosy surroundings binging Netflix box sets, we knew it would be a new normal!
